About Cayuga Counseling Services

We seek to enable all individuals to reach their full potential, to improve the quality of their lives and to promote emotional health and well-being, with special emphasis on providing services to children, young adults, and families without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.

Since 1921, Cayuga Counseling Services has provided quality children and family services in Cayuga and Onondaga Counties. Cayuga Counseling Services is a dynamic, not-for-profit, multi-service agency with an annual budget of 4 million dollars.

CCS receives funding from Cayuga County United Way, New York State Office of Mental Health, Office of Children and Families, Division of Probation and Correctional Alternatives, Division of Criminal Justice Services, Department of Health, Crime Victims Board and Office of Court Administration, as well as from Cayuga and Onondaga County, and the City of Auburn.

CCS serves as the lead agency in many collaborative programs and initiatives. Our level of service and commitment to quality care is unparalleled. The agency operates over 20 programs and employs over 80 full and part-time staff. In 2006, CCS provided services to over 3200 children and families.
