Welcome
to our Clinic

Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. Mental Health Programs are designed to promote emotional wellness in our consumers. Our primary focus is on children and families and our treatment philosophy encourages the involvement of parents/significant others in the treatment process.
We believe that by positively affecting the environment where our consumers live and by including parents and significant others in the treatment process, those that seek our services will experience more positive treatment outcomes.
Our Mental Health Services here at the agency form a continuum of services for consumers that begins can progress from prevention and education to a variety of individual, group, couples and family modalities including evidence based practices, crisis intervention, children’s day treatment and therapeutic foster care. A variety of other important services are embedded in the programs.

What is Mental Health?
A mental illness is a condition that affects a person's thinking, feeling, behavior or mood. These conditions deeply impact day-to-day living and may also affect the ability to relate to others. If you have — or think you might have — a mental illness, the first thing you must know is that you are not alone. Mental health conditions are far more common than you think, mainly because people don’t like to, or are scared to, talk about them.
