Ruth Stewart

ATI Program Coordinator

Ruth Stewart has a bachelor’s degree in special education. She has worked in various programs at Cayuga Counseling since 2000. Currently, she is the Criminal Courts Program Coordinator. In this role she interviews, assigns and monitors people sentenced to community service by the court. She interviews individuals at the Cayuga County jail charged with a crime and assess their eligibility for pre-trial release. Monitors those released on pre-trial. Facilitates a RESPECT program, an evidence-based program, for men charged with domestic violence. Co-facilitates an anger management program. Also co-facilitates a cognitive behavioral intervention program with incarcerated individuals at the Cayuga County jail.
